PRODUCTIVITY AND PERFORMANCE
A new design concept called "minimal tail swing" provides optimum visibility, stability and serviceability while minimizing counterweight overhang in tight, confining areas.
Full 360° cab swing, combined with independent boom swing provides excellent maneuverability.
The JCB Diesel engine provides 47.8 gross hp.
Powerful Feijen Seiki 2-speed auto shift drive motors provide travel speeds for easy maneuvering in confined spaces.
8,317 lbs. of bucket breakout and 4,878 lbs. dipper force give unmatched performance in hard digging applications.
RELIABILITY AND DURABILITY
Computer aided designed components are pre-tested prior to manufacture for strength and durability.
Rubber or steel track options utilize the same roller system for easy change over. Swing turret is a fully enclosed system protected from dirt and debris. Tracks are hydraulically adjusted (grease gun).
Hydraulics: auxiliary circuit supplies 27 gpm offering single or bi-directional flow for attachment operation.
SAFETY
ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) and TOPS (Tip Over Protection Structure) certified cab / canopy, with the added option of FOGS (Falling Object Guard Structure) guard.
Seat belt fitted as standard. Control isolator situated on left-hand pod.
OPERATOR ENVIRONMENT
Both cab and canopy builds are TOPS / FOPS / FOGS certified for operator safety and comfort. All controls and instrumentation are ergonomically designed and located for maximum convenience, comfort and productivity. Quick and easy control pattern changes between SAE and ISO.
SERVICEABILITY
Service access on the machine is unmatched, the twin opening hood arrangement offering easy access to both the side mounted engine and rear mounted hydraulic components.
