Able to lift a 3.7 ton payload to 13.5 m this machine has exceptional performance. Precise handling to full height and versatile enough in a package utilizing the side engine concept and all the feature shared by the JCB range. With a rugged and reliable design and an excellent operator environment, this is a high lift machine that always achieves the highest productivity rates
All round visibility allowed by low boom line gives the operator greater confidence to move quickly and safely.
Instant steering selection between all wheel steer, front wheel steer and crab steer modes ensures ease of operation, whilst a tight turn radius of 4.1 m gives greater maneuverability.
Forward reach of 9.52 m, lift capacity 3.5 tons, maximum lift height of 13.8 m and lift capacity of 1.0 ton at full reach, all improve productive capability.
Powershift transmission allows on the move gear changes for faster cycle times and quicker traveling.
Low centre of gravity and long wheelbase increase stability, both for roading and load placing.
Precise joystick control, combined with smooth action hydraulics, ensures quick, accurate control over boom and carriage functions, guaranteeing accurate load placement.
Spacious cab, for greater comfort and minimal fatigue. Low instrument line and big roof window ensure excellent forward and upward vision, ensuring that the operator can always clearly see the boom.
Large glass area and hub mounted fenders mean the operator can always clearly see the direction of the wheels.
Cab options include radio housing, roof blind, storage moldings, power socket and air conditioning.
With heavy-duty polyethylene replacing sheet metal on vulnerable bodywork, damage potential is minimized
Vehicle electric’s are to IP69 standard for greater water and dust protection.
Strong boom construction is a feature of JCB Loadalls The inner boom material extends forward and wraps downward to form the boom head. This is a critical stress point in digging applications. The JCB design spreads the stresses throughout the boom eliminating fatigue and potential failure at the boom nose. Large boom overlap between inner and outer sections ensures no boom distortion and avoids potential failure.
A one-piece welded chassis, with thick steel sections for added rigidity, gives this machine excellent longevity even in the toughest environments. Chassis, boom and carriage are all extensively tested to ensure maximum resistance to fatigue failure.
For additional capacity the 535-140 comes with heavy-duty stabilizers as standard. These stabilizers ensure safe placement of heavy loads to full height. Chassis leveling is an option on this machine, giving improved load ratings when stabilizers are not used and easier transportation of bulky loads on uneven ground.
The side mounted JCB engine combined with JCB axles and transmission, ensure reliable drive train performance from well proven components.
Audio and visual warnings give rapid driver feedback on engine and transmission status.
Easy service access is a key feature of the side engine JCB Loadall. Unhindered access to both sides of the engine along with detachable engine cowl and cover mean that whether performing daily checks or performing more extensive service operations, access is always easy.
Low friction, long-life, wear pads plus long service intervals of 500 hours for boom lubrication and engine servicing cut maintenance costs and ensure reliability.
Among the many safety features load hold check valves are fitted to boom and carriage hydraulic functions. A safe load indicator within the cab gives a progressive readout of the machines forward stability. Neutral start ensures drive is disconnected before the engine can be started. Drive is also disconnected when hand brake is engaged.
